*NSYNC - But tour and album in the pipeline?
What happens now after the brief *NSYNC reunion? At the beginning of the year, the boy band announced their comeback after their actual break-up in 2002. But only for one song for the animated film "Troll". "Better Place" was released on September 29, and two weeks earlier the band performed together on stage for the first time in around ten years - but only to present superstar Taylor Swift (34) with the Best Pop Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.
This was followed by another joint promotional appearance at the "Troll" world premiere and a few interviews. But Justin Timberlake (42), JC Chasez (47), Lance Bass (44), Joey Fatone (46) and Chris Kirkpatrick (52) never tired of emphasizing that no further music was planned for the time being. And there would definitely be no joint tour. But now Fatone is pushing the door wide open and giving all fans worldwide high hopes. Speaking to "People" magazine at the "Bilt Rewards' 2023 Winter Holiday House Party" in New York on Wednesday, the 46-year-old said with a laugh when asked whether concerts were planned: "You know what? Never say never. I think we honestly need to sit down and have a conversation."
*NSYNC: Is a new album and tour coming after all?
A denial definitely looks different. Fatone went on to explain that there had already been talks about "Do we want to do something?". The question "How are we going to do it?" has also been discussed. But nothing is in motion yet, Fatone continued, before becoming vague again: "Well, I never say never, but I don't say no and I don't say yes." They simply have to talk to each other now, but the whole thing looks "promising" to him.
According to Fatone, a new album is no longer out of the question either: "We'd like to make more music." The new song took "a minute". But everyone has their own life, many are married and have children. His colleague Lance Bass also confirmed the thoughts to "People" magazine on location: "I hope we can find something we can do together." They have to talk to each other and that will take a while, Bass said. Nevertheless, he is keen to work on more projects together: "In a perfect world, that would be great."
