Defender Bright Arrey-Mbi leaves Hannover 96

Since 2022, Bright Arrey-Mbi has played for the Lower Saxony Second Division team. Now, the 21-year-old defender is leaving Hannover. The next stop for the defender is Portugal.

Second Bundesliga - Defender Bright Arrey-Mbi leaves Hannover 96

Defensive Midfielder Bright Arrey-Mbi is leaving lower league German side Hannover 96. The club announced that the 21-year-old will join Portuguese top-tier team SC Braga. The transfer details for the German U21 national player were agreed upon to remain undisclosed. According to media reports, Hannover received around six million Euros.

Arrey-Mbi initially joined Hannover on loan from FC Bayern in 2022. He was then permanently signed during the last summer transfer window. In his two seasons for 96, he played in 49 official matches.

"He has continuously developed and improved his performances at Hannover 96. It was clear that he would eventually attract the interest of other clubs," said Hannover's Sport Director Marcus Mann.
