Bundesliga - Eintracht confirm transfer of Danish talent Højlund
Football-Bundesligist Eintracht Frankfurt has signed Danish U19-National player Oscar Højlund. The midfielder received a contract until 30. June 2029, as confirmed by Hessen. According to media reports, Højlund costs ten million Kroner (1,34 million Euro) plus bonuses. His older brother Rasmus moved for around 70 million Euro to Manchester United in the past summer. And also Oscar's twin brother Emil is a professional and plays for FC Kopenhagen.
"With Oscar Højlund we are signing a very talented player who already has international experience at a young age and fits in perfectly with us not only due to his footballing abilities but also his demeanor," said Sport Director Timmo Hardung about the new signing, who made six appearances in the Champions League for FC Kopenhagen.
Eintracht Frankfurt, a Bundesliga team from Germany, has brought in Oscar Højlund, a Danish U19 national player. His brother Rasmus previously moved to Manchester United for a significant sum. Oscar's twin brother Emil plays for FC Copenhagen. The midfielder signed a contract until 2029, costing Eintracht Frankfurt ten million Kroner and additional bonuses. Despite his young age, Oscar has represented FC Kopenhagen in six Champions League matches.
