European Football Championship - Fan zone in Munich closed due to weather conditions

The Fanzone in Munich remains closed on weather-conditioned free Sundays. According to the city of Munich's announcement, there is no program in the Fanzone, and the partner stands do not open due to the unfavorable weather conditions. Some of the gastronomy is open.

The program resumes again at 13.00 hours on Monday. The Public Viewing of the Halbfinals between France and Spain, as announced by the city, will take place on Tuesday in the Fanzone. The Olympiastadion remains closed.

Despite the closure of the Fanzone in Munich on certain Sundays due to stormy weather in Upper Bavaria, soccer fans eagerly awaited the European Football Championship matches. Many had planned to visit the Fan zone in Bavaria's famous city, Munich, which normally offers a lively atmosphere during such events. Unfortunately, the poor weather conditions in Europe had resulted in the storm affecting their plans. Despite the closure of the Fanzone, the municipality assured fans that the Public Viewing of the Halbfinals, featuring teams like France and Spain, would still take place as scheduled on Tuesday, albeit at an alternate location, the Olympiastadion.
