Weather forecast - High temperatures expected in Bavaria again

Sunny and hot will be the coming days in Bavaria, with changeable weather only starting in the middle of the week. Bavarian schoolchildren can look forward to a summery start to their holidays, with temperatures up to 29 degrees Celsius reported by the German Weather Service (DWD). On Tuesday, there will still be plenty of sunshine and few clouds. Temperatures are expected to reach between 28 and 33 degrees Celsius. It will be hottest in Middle- and Lower Franconia, according to a DWD spokesperson. In Northern Bavaria and along the Danube, it may also be a bit windy.

On Wednesday, temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius are possible under much sunshine. Towards the Alps and in Swabia, clouds, thunderstorms, and heavy showers are expected in the afternoon from the west, the spokesperson added. Nights will see temperatures between 14 and 20 degrees Celsius, with showers and thunderstorms spreading over Bavaria. Changeable weather with a slight temperature drop is expected on Thursday and Friday.
